Indoor House League Soccer Games – 10 weeks + Cup Final – Winter Starts Feb 9

  • Indoor Soccer League Boys ages 5-6, Mondays, games start 6:00pm or 6:50pm, game fixtures will be provided

NEW Girls Ages 5-6 Academy Rep Prep Soccer Training Program – Tuesdays, Winter Starts Feb 17

  • Duration: 10 weeks
  • Players from this program will be selected for Girls Academy Ages 5-6 starting Summer 2026

Mini Masters Boys Ages 5-6 Thursdays — starts Feb 18

  • Thursdays fundamental skills technical training. Blocks duration 4 weeks.
  • Coaches Recommendation: Add Monday House League for extra game experience

Ages 7-8:

NEW Girls Ages 7-8 Academy Rep Prep Soccer Training Program – Thursdays, Winter Starts Feb 19

  • Duration: 10 weeks
  • Players from this program will be selected for Girls Academy Ages 7-8 starting Summer 2026

Indoor House League Soccer Games – 10 weeks + Cup Final — Winter Starts Feb 8

  • Indoor Soccer League Boys ages 7-8, Sundays, Olympium Gym, games start 9:10am or 10:05am, game fixtures will be provided

Football School Soccer Ages 7-8, Tuesdays & Fridays – Winter Block Starts Feb 17

  • Tuesday of technical training and Friday of “School Yard” 4 v 4 league games. Fall block duration 10 weeks.
  • NEW: Select your teams for Friday games. Teams will play one game each week (format 2 x 22min halves)

NEW Clinics 45 Ages 7-8 – Mondays — starts Feb 23

  • Specialized technical training focused on developing a specific technical skill essential in the game setting
  • Winter Clinics 45:
    • 6:10-6:55pm, St George School Gym, “Pass, Receive, Shoot I”
    • 7:00-7:45pm, St George School Gym, “Shoot Accurate, Shoot Hard” (various shooting techniques)
    • COACHES RECOMMENDATION: Register for clinics in addition to House League or Football School Training

Ages 9-10:

  • This program is designed to develop technical skills and prepare players for rep soccer stream

Ages 11-13:

  • Indoor Soccer League Boys ages 11-13, Wednesdays, games start at 6:00pm or 6:50pm

  • NOTE:
    • Spectators/guardians allowed in the spectators area. No guardians/spectators allowed on the playing/training field

COACHES’ RECOMMENDATION:

  1. Clinics 45 + House League Soccer Games = Success
  2. We recommend that you train on multiple days to maximize your soccer skills development

Grassroots Program Goals:

  • Development and refinement of basic skills

  • Introduction to new and more difficult skills

  • All players to be comfortable with the ball at their feet
  • All players to be able to play in our house league with skill and confidence

  • Players who achieve the required skills level will be invited to Football School or Junior Academy

Skills Girls Programs Goals:

  • NEW specialized program for ages 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10

  • Introduction to new and more difficult skills

  • All players to be comfortable with the ball at their feet
  • All players to be able to play in our house league with skill and confidence

  • Players who achieve the required skills level will be invited to our Junior Academy

Academy Program Goals:

The primary technical focus will be as follows….
Footwork technique, to play in small spaces on the field. All players should be able to dribble and win 1 v 1’s
  • Coordination and agility to increase mobility, first touch and ball manipulation
  • First touch to set up the second touch
  • Dribbling, dribbling, dribbling, moves to beat an opponent
  • Ball mastery one, control of the ball under speed and pressure
  • Ball mastery two, high performance, advanced ball skills at speed
  • Player Progress Report, More frequent player progress reporting
The goal for each academy player is to be able to consistently demonstrate the necessary high ball skill standards to impact a game. All RYFC academy players must have the confidence and ability with the ball at their feet.
