Indoor House League Soccer Games – 10 weeks + Cup Final

  • Indoor Soccer League Boys ages 5-6, Mondays, games start 6:00pm or 6:50pm, game fixtures will be provided

NEW Girls Ages 5-6 Academy Rep Prep Soccer Training Program- Tuesdays, 10 weeks

  • Players from this program will be selected for Girls Academy Ages 5-6 starting Summer 2026

Football School Soccer Ages 5-6 Tuesdays & Friday

    • 7:00-7:45pm, Bloor School Gym, “Dribble Fast, Dribble Past” (Beating an opponent)
    • COACHES RECOMMENDATION: Register for clinics in addition to House League or Football School Training

    • Spectators/guardians allowed in the spectators area. No guardians/spectators allowed on the playing/training field

COACHES’ RECOMMENDATION:

  1. Clinics 45 + House League Soccer Games = Success
  2. We recommend that you train on multiple days to maximize your soccer skills development

Grassroots Program Goals:

  • Development and refinement of basic skills

  • Introduction to new and more difficult skills

  • All players to be comfortable with the ball at their feet
  • All players to be able to play in our house league with skill and confidence

  • Players who achieve the required skills level will be invited to Football School or Junior Academy

Skills Girls Programs Goals:

  • NEW specialized program for ages 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10

  • Introduction to new and more difficult skills

  • All players to be comfortable with the ball at their feet
  • All players to be able to play in our house league with skill and confidence

  • Players who achieve the required skills level will be invited to our Junior Academy

Academy Program Goals:

The primary technical focus will be as follows….
Footwork technique, to play in small spaces on the field. All players should be able to dribble and win 1 v 1’s
  • Coordination and agility to increase mobility, first touch and ball manipulation
  • First touch to set up the second touch
  • Dribbling, dribbling, dribbling, moves to beat an opponent
  • Ball mastery one, control of the ball under speed and pressure
  • Ball mastery two, high performance, advanced ball skills at speed
  • Player Progress Report, More frequent player progress reporting
The goal for each academy player is to be able to consistently demonstrate the necessary high ball skill standards to impact a game. All RYFC academy players must have the confidence and ability with the ball at their feet.
