Summer House League Soccer: Boys & Girls Ages 5-6, 7-8 & 9-10

Our RYFC House League is based on a 4 v 4 or 5 v 5 small sided game concept. It’s important to have all players engaged and playing the game to the best of their abilities, while having fun in a safe, non-over-coaching and non-shouting football environment.

In our RYFC House League, players will drastically benefit from their small-sided game experience with less players on the field. Each player will have more chances of handling the ball regardless of their body size or football experience. This speeds up individual ball skills and more importantly a players confidence on the ball.

In small-sided-House League games, players experience more passes, scoring attempts, one-on-one encounters and more chances to enhance their dribbling skills.

Location: Bloordale School field (10 Toledo Road)

Day: Wednesdays

Season Starts: Wednesday, May 27, 2020

Season Ends: Wednesday, August 19, 2020

Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm (league games)

League Standing: Yes, RYFC Cup tournament TBA

Team Jersey: FREE team jersey provided

Parent Involvment: All our programs are run by our licensed trained coaches but parents, this is YOUR time to shine. This is the only program where we invite parents to participate as coaches. FOOTBALL DETAILS:

  • Ages: 5-6

  • Number of teams: 8 teams

  • Number of players: 10 players per team

  • Substitutes: 5 subs

  • Format: 4 v 4 or 5 v 5

  • Goalkeeper: No GK

  • Game Duration: 2 x 4 min halves

  • Number of games each session: 7 games per team (or depending on the number of teams)

Players, this is your chance to pick your team:

  • Each player will receive a FULL UNIFORM SET ( jersey, shorts and socks) in the colour of their team

  • Each team has a maximum of 10 players. When the team reaches 10 players, you will not be able to register for that team. In this case you will need to select register for another team.

  • Want to be on the same team as you friend? No problem, just make sure you both register for the same team.
